In the long-term, NGOs continue to play a larger and vital role in nation-building and providing philanthropic services for the disadvantaged sections of the society. There are more accountable NGOs like Smile Foundation (works for child healthcare and education), Give India (involved in different fields like medical relief, relief for poor, preservation of environment, education, etc.), Lepra Society (works for prevention and control of diseases), Udaan (helps to improve and develop positive attitude in the PLWHAs and MSM/TGs), and others that are delivering services to the poor and needy more effectively and efficiently using the resources in the best way.

There are many other NGOs like Sargam Sanstha, Deepalaya, Uday Foundation, Karmayog, and many other large NGOs and also smaller NGOs that fill the gap that is uncovered by the government and thus, NGOs will continue to play a larger role in Indian society and aiding the elderly, deprived, orphan, disadvantaged poor people, and etc.

  1. NGO's the helping hands of India. Behind this NGOs there are so many hidden people who are helping, they are neither politicians and nor businessman. Middle class employees only coming forward and helping them.

  2. Non governmental Organisations are mostly depending on the helping hands. Helping them by giving small amount from our salary is not a big issue for us. But Unitedly everybody has to step forward to help them, as it makes a huge difference to those organisations.
